Little Alex Mayer knew from a young age that his interest was in knowing how his surroundings worked and something about looking at a porcupine sparked just the right spark to start pulling things apart, and with the hope of getting some guidance in how to put them back together he landed a Masters and a Ph.D in Environmental Engineering.
Professor Alex Mayer currently teaches Civil Engineering and is the Director of the Center for Environmental Resources Management.
