2024 El Paso Primary election live blog

Nearly 18,000 El Pasoans voted in-person on Tuesday by the afternoon in the Democratic and Republican primary races, according to the El Paso County Elections Department.

Nearly 18,000 El Pasoans voted in-person on Tuesday by the afternoon in the Democratic and Republican primary races, according to the El Paso County Elections Department.

El Paso, Texas (KTEP) - Super Tuesday marks an important step in various races for president, U.S. senate seats, state representatives and county offices in the Democratic and Republican primaries. As of Tuesday evening, 25,000 people voted in-person at local voting centers, according to the El Paso County Elections Department. The county opened 116 voting locations during the primary election.

Polls are now closed.

There are important races at the local level for state representative, district attorney, sheriff, county attorney, county commissioner, and judgeships among other contests. You can see hourly updates provided by the El Paso County Elections Department.
