Corazón Collective, a group of Texas- and California-based Latinx poets and writers, will be sharing poetry and conversation at a free event on Friday, June 16 at 7 pm at Cafe Mayapan. They will also offer a writing workshop on Saturday, June 17 at 1 pm at Cafe Mayapan.

Corazón Collective members are Jen Yáñez-Alaniz, author of Surrogate Eater; jo reyes-boitel, author of Michael + Josephine and mouth; Carmen Calatayud, author of In the Company of Spirits; Angelina Sáenz, author of Edgecliff; and ire’ne lara silva, author of multiple collections, including Cuicacalli/House of Song and flesh to bone.
