International Day of Peace Symposium
El Paso will mark the 2025 International Day of Peace with a 2-day symposium featuring internationally renowned speakers, community panels, workshops, and am art project dedicated to the practice of peace-building. The FREE event will be held at the Tomas Rivera Conference Center in the UTEP Memorial Union, from 8:30-4:30 on Saturday, Sept. 20th and continuing from 12:30-4:30 on Sunday, Sept. 21st. All are welcome, from experienced activists to newcomers wondering how they can promote peace in their daily lives.
The event is free but registration is required (lunch on Saturday is included).
