This year, La Frontera Print Fest will unite 10 artists from El Paso [Skuishi, Bear Ramos, Brian Holt, Lorena Hernandez, Payton Szwaczkowski, Diane Vera-Ureño, Isaac Varela] and Ciudad Juárez [David Sanchez, Luis Roacho, Zurisaday Duran Rodriguez] to create an unforgettable panoramic print of Sister Cities.

Prepare to witness the art of printmaking in El Paso as we print live individually the six panels representing El Paso and Las Cruces [24 in x36 in] using relief linocut printing. These panels will showcase important areas, icons, and landscapes in El Paso. Gain insight into the printmaking community in a lively atmosphere at the vendor's printmaking market!

This project aims to promote printmaking within the community and create a welcoming environment for various artists across the borderland.

Our special guest is Kyle Durrie, Southwest Print Fiesta's organizer and Power and Light Press owner in Silver City, New Mexico. Southwest Print Fiesta is a festivity that aims to offer opportunities for established artists interested in advancing their practices and a platform for new, emerging voices to join in the conversation.
