Dr. Justice came to El Paso in 1882 as a physician for the Union Railroad. Within a short amount of time, he would become a leader in the El Paso County medical community. Join Caleb Lara as he shares the story of Dr. Justice from inside what was once the Justice family home and is the current Visitor Center for the Magoffin Home State Historic Site at 1117 Magoffin Ave.

Caleb Lara is a public historian passionate about illuminating the architectural, cultural, and civic story of the El Paso borderland. His work spans documentary filmmaking, heritage storytelling, walking tours, educational lectures, and nonprofit preservation projects. He is also the founder of Elevate El Paso and Builders of the Desert, two initiatives dedicated to bringing borderland history to social media, classrooms, and the wider community.
