The Magoffin Home presents a monthly cooking class on the first Saturday of every month. This year, the Magoffin Home is proud to present the 'America250 food history series'; each cooking class will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America and the many communities who have built the City of El Paso. The featured recipe this month is Sweet Potato Pie. Join Gloria as she prepares a pie from the 'El Paso Cookbook', published in 1898. This class is part of a greater celebration: Our America, Our Texas, Our El Paso!
