In conjunction with Warhol & Friends, the UAM presents Neo Noir at the Rio Grande, a series of classic films inspired by the artwork of Cindy Sherman. Screening of "Sunset Boulevard" on Friday, May 23 at 6 PM at the Rio Grande Theater. Billy Wilder's sharp, noir classic stars Gloria Swanson as Norma Desmond, an aging silent film star desperate for a comeback. A haunting portrayal of Hollywood's obsession with fame, Sunset Boulevard is a powerful commentary on the industry's dark underbelly.
