New Mexico's Past through Murals

New Mexico's Past through Murals

Don’t miss this FREE tour of three stunning murals by Tom Lea in Las Cruces led by NSMU Political Collections Archivist and Special Collections Librarian, Dylan McDonald.

The vibrant artworks of Old Mesilla and Conquistadors at the Branson Library, as well as The Franciscan Friar at the Branigan Cultural Center, depict the resilience of Native Americans and the arrival of European settlers.

After the tour, enjoy a no-host lunch at the iconic "Nopalitos" located at Bowman Ave and Mesquite St.
