Opening Reception: Tom Lea: Brushstrokes from the Frontlines of WWII Exhibit

Opening Reception: Tom Lea: Brushstrokes from the Frontlines of WWII Exhibit

Join us on JAN 24 at 10:00 AM at the UTEP Centennial Museum for the opening reception of Tom Lea: Brushstrokes from the Frontlines of WWII Exhibit.

Experience thirty-six framed prints depicting scenes of World War II that Lea captured while working as LIFE magazine's first Accredited War Artist-Correspondent.

During this reception, we will feature never-before-seen original sketchbooks and items from Tom Lea's WWII service, as well as a variety of knowledgeable speakers.

The Reception will also include light breakfast-themed bites.

Lea’s illustrations—drawn from the frontlines of four major theaters of war—capture the enduring strength of the human spirit. Through this unique collaboration, we honor those who have served throughout history.
