Power to the Polls is a nonpartisan community civic engagement event created to educate, empower, and encourage El Paso residents, especially young and first-time voters, to become more informed and involved in the voting process.

This event is about bringing the community and candidates together in one space where voters can learn about the importance of voting, understand what is on the ballot, learn about local, state, and federal offices, and have the opportunity to meet candidates and community organizations.

Power to the Polls is not a debate or political rally. Candidates from different parties are invited to participate, giving community members an opportunity to hear from and connect with the people seeking to represent them. The focus is on voter education, civic participation, and empowering people to make informed decisions for themselves and their communities.

The event will also feature community organizations, vendors, food trucks, speakers, and opportunities for attendees to connect with local resources and organizations.

Our goal is simple: to make sure people understand that their voice matters, their vote matters, and their participation can help shape the future of their community.
