Solar Printing Moments from Fort Selden
Join Ranger Payton at Fort Selden Historic Site in Radium Springs, New Mexico, to explore the history of cyanotype printmaking and create a photogram print of your own! Visitors will create their own print on pretreated fabric and paper using flat objects and digital negatives provided by the site, as well as the New Mexico sun. During the program, you will learn about the history and significance of cyanotypes in the 19th century, and the chemical process involved in creating these prints.
