The Concordia Cemetery Ghosts & Legends Tour

The Concordia Cemetery Ghosts & Legends Tour

As the sun dips behind the Franklin Mountains and the desert chill sets in, the gates of El Paso’s "City of the Dead" swing open. Join us for an immersive nighttime exploration of Concordia Cemetery, a sprawling 54-acre labyrinth where the legends of the Old West still linger in the shadows.

Concordia isn't just a graveyard; it’s a crossroads of history and hauntings. With over 60,000 souls resting within its walls, the energy here is palpable.

From the restless spirits of the Wild West to the whispered echoes of forgotten pioneers, every path tells a story—and some stories refuse to stay buried.

What Awaits You in the Dark:

The Gunslinger’s Rest: Stand at the grave of the notorious John Wesley Hardin. Do the echoes of his final shootout still ring out in the midnight air?

The Buffalo Soldiers & Pioneers: Walk the grounds dedicated to the brave men and families who shaped the frontier, and hear the tragic tales of those who met untimely ends.

Mystics and Secret Societies: Explore the Chinese Cemetery and the sections dedicated to secretive fraternal orders, where occult symbols and unique burial rites invite the curious and the supernatural.

The Infant Nursery: Experience one of the most active "hotspots" in the cemetery, where visitors frequently report the sounds of laughter and the feeling of small hands.

Location: Concordia Cemetery (Main Gate)
Atmosphere: Dark, historic, and chillingly quiet
Equipment: Bring a flashlight and comfortable walking shoes. You are welcome to bring your camera. Not only can you get great pictures of haunted & historic locations, you might just capture a ghost on film!

A Warning to the Brave: This is a walking tour over uneven desert terrain in total darkness. Expect the unexpected—paranormal activity is never guaranteed, but in a place this old, you are never truly alone.

Are you ready to face the shadows?

🎃 The Summerween Picnic: Paranormal Pregame 👻
Before we head beyond the gates for the late-night investigation, it’s time to warm up your spirits!

Join us a few blocks from the cemetery at Mary Webb Park (3401 E Missouri Ave) for the ultimate Paranormal Pregame—a free, family-friendly Summerween meetup designed to get your goosebumps raised and your spooky vibes flowing before the sun goes down.

Pack your picnic blankets, load up on your favorite late-summer snacks, and get ready for an evening of community, trading, and chilling lore.

🕒 The Pregame Lineup
6:30 PM – 7:00 PM: The Summerween Trinket Trade | Settle into nearby Mary Webb Park and kick off the night with a casual meet-and-greet. Bring along small trinkets, creepy crafts, or Halloween treats to swap with your fellow ghost enthusiasts!

7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Twilight Storytime | As darkness begins to fall, gather 'round to hear spine-tingling local ghost stories and legendary lore spun by a local author. It's the perfect way to set the mood for what's to come.

🎟️ The Main Event: 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Once the pregame wraps up, we’ll be heading over to the cemetery and crossing over into the shadows for The Concordia Cemetery Ghosts & Legends Tour.

Check-In: 8:30 PM – 9:00 PM

Important Note: While the park picnic and storytime are completely FREE, the after-hours cemetery trek is a ticketed event. Space is strictly limited, so make sure you secure your passes before they vanish into thin air!
