The opening reception will feature a presentation by Adair Margo, founder of the Tom Lea Institute, who will provide insights into Tom Lea’s Twelve Travelers.

Magoffin Home Site Manager Danielle Brissette will highlight the connections between these historical figures and the Magoffin Home, including James Wiley Magoffin, a merchant and trader who played a key role in establishing Fort Bliss Army Base.

Guests will enjoy a tea-themed reception featuring warm drinks and small bites inspired by historical recipes.
