Relax with a free concert at the International Museum of Art!

The International Museum of Art is proud to present An Axolotl Found in Luxemburg, a free guitar and lute concert on Saturday May 30, 2026 from 2 pm-3 pm. Please join us for a relaxing afternoon of music by Fernando Escapita, featuring a mixture of historic pieces and his original compositions.

An Axolotl Found in Luxemburg will be held in the IMoA’s auditorium, located on the lower level (elevator accessible). Doors will open at 1:30 pm and the performance will begin at 2 pm. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can not wait to see you there!

You're invited! Sacred Cycles, an art exhibit by Ashton Kaleigh, is premiering at Traffick Artspace on Saturday May 30th.

This exhibition presents new paintings by Ashton Kaleigh that meditate on cyclical living, feminine identity, and spiritual evolution. Drawing from the archetypes of maiden, mother, and crone, the work uses vibrant color and recurring symbols to trace the emotional seasons carried within a woman's life.

The International Museum of Art is proud to announce their newest pop-up gallery, Portrait of a Woman: Artist and Artisan. This gallery highlights the lives of other early women artists of El Paso like Jan Herring, Grace Knox Smith, Anna Johnell Crimen and Dorothy Geyer.

This pop-up asks us to reflect on creativity in our own lives by examining women’s artistic output from the late 1800s through the mid 1900s and international examples from Sue Koenig’s Window to the World. The gallery also highlights the biographies of El Paso’s early women artists by exploring how major social changes empowered these women to embark on professional art careers.

IMoA Director, Emily Leedom, states that “there is such a rich legacy of women artists in the greater El Paso region, and it is an honor to share their stories with our community. I think we can all relate to the artistic journeys that these women embarked on.”

In addition to Portrait of a Woman,The IMoA also invites you to visit A Tale of Two Artists, hosted in partnership with the Magoffin Home. This gallery celebrates the legacy of two early El Paso women, Octavia “Tia” Magoffin Glasgow and Leola Warnock Freeman. On view in our Historic Home, it explores the lives of these two women, as artists and as life-long friends.

Online and in-person classes for adults aged 50+ start on June 15 in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Texas - El Paso. Register through June 12. Join OLLI with others who are interested in being active, engaged, creative, and connected through a variety of topics, such as art, current events, history, literature, music, fitness and more. Join us to experience the art of Zarzuela~Spanish musical theater with an operatic flair and a borderland twist! Bohemios is full of passion, humor, and unforgettable music.

Originating from the same source materials as La Bohème, Bohemios is specially designed for a citywide tour, bringing live performances to a variety of venues across El Paso.

Featuring our talented Artist Ambassadors plus an all-local cast & crew, this tour will be offered for free as a part of our dedication to community service.

Bohemios will be sung in Spanish with dialogue in English.

UTEP Kidz on Campus offers a variety of on-campus activities this summer to keep your kids engaged. Young campers can develop their skills, learn and have fun in the many camps we offer. Our camps can help improve academic skills, develop confidence and more. Sign your child up for our Kidz on Campus Summer 2026 youth programs and camps: they’ll be guaranteed a fun and unique learning experience! Camps start the week of June 2 and are for entering grades K-12.
