Denis O'Hearn is Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at El Paso. He has written widely in the fields of political economy, mutual aid, isolated imprisonment and Ireland. His interests are in social movements, the sociology of economic change, industrialisation and transnational corporations.
