Eileen Espino

Eileen is an On-Air Board Op, a production intern for KTEP projects, and is currently writing public service announcements for events around town.

Eileen has a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in communication and is on the board to create an annual communication conference at UTEP. She previously worked as a communication liaison agent for a real estate company, a finance agent for a loan lender, and an elementary school tutor at EPISD.

“I fell in love with radio when I discovered that my voice mattered after the first time I volunteered at KTEP,” Eileen commented. She enjoys listening to the Texas Standard and Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me on the weekends. Eileen has been at KTEP for a year and a half. She thinks the best part about working at a public radio station is making an impact in education and entertainment in the community.
