Are mosquitos useful or do they exist to annoy us? What are true bugs? Kevin and Daniel talk about life in the desert and some of their smallest inhabitants. In this episode they cover some of the bugs, insects and arachnids that make their lives in the desert. Daniel Carey-Whalen is the director of the Centennial Museum and Chihuahuan Desert Gardens and Kevin Floyd is the Botanical Curator.

Desert Diaries is recorded in the KTEP Public Media studios and is a production of The University of Texas at El Paso Division of Marketing and Communications.
