The Bridge of the Americas is temporarily closed for cargo trucks starting today and until further notice. The University of Texas at El Paso is holding a memorial for the late Willie Cager today at 7 p.m. at the Don Haskins Center. It’s free and open to the public. Last week, a federal judge in Texas ordered the suspension of the FDA’s approval for the abortion drug mifepristone.
