City officials say around 12,000 to 15,000 asylum seekers may cross the border over the weekend and into Monday. Texas Governor Greg Abbott is bussing hundreds of asylum seekers to New York this week, as officials prepare for a surge of migration now that the end is near for Title 42. Sculptures by the late Mexican artist José Sacal can be viewed at the county courthouse. The exhibition of Sacal’s work was put on display this Monday. The art pieces can be found on the first and twelfth floors of the courthouse.
