Just outside of Odessa, there’s a small national natural landmark identifying one of the only known asteroid craters in the country. The gunman who killed 23 people and wounded more than 20 others at a Walmart four years ago has been sentenced to 90 consecutive life terms for 90 federal charges including hate crimes.
