A Taiwan-based manufacturer is opening a new factory in Santa Teresa bringing over 350 jobs, according to the state of New Mexico. The El Paso City Council in a 6-1 vote called on Mayor Oscar Leeser to send a letter in support of a National Register Historic District in Downtown to the state of Texas. Officials with U.S. Customs and Border Protection met with officials in Ciudad Juarez Friday to discuss enhanced border security operations. A federal judge has blocked a law that severely restricts drag performances in Texas.
