Elected officials, faith and business leaders in El Paso are calling on President Biden to expand temporary legal status and work permits for undocumented immigrants – many living right here in El Paso. Southern New Mexico U.S. Representative Gabe Vasquez introduced his proposals for immigration reform legislation at the Santa Teresa Port of Entry. The U.S. Department of Defense is deploying 900 troops to the Middle East, including soldiers from Fort Bliss.
