Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed a controversial immigration enforcement bill this afternoon. U.S. Customs and Border Protection is temporarily shutting down international railway crossings in El Paso and Eagle Pass. A case in front of the Texas Supreme Court could determine how much money a parent can receive for a wrongful pregnancy caused by medical negligence. Currently, Texas’s 16-percent uninsured rate is the highest in the country.
