Early voting in the March primaries starts tomorrow. Socorro Independent School District superintendent Nate Carman accepted a new job in Arizona. Residents in Eagle Pass are pushing back on the construction of a new military base camp that will house up to 2,300 national guard soldiers for Governor Abbott’s controversial border security mission, Operation Lone Star. The CDC says at least 10 people have fallen ill from an E. coli outbreak linked to raw cheddar cheese, including one in Texas.
