We’re learning more about the circumstances around Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s effort to shut down a Catholic non-profit in El Paso. The state of Texas was back in federal court this morning/friday morning over its foster care system. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office met their deadline responding to Texas jail regulators on a notice of non-compliance. A court ordered Jaguars Gold Club closed until March 5 today. The city of El Paso and County Attorney’s Office filed a lawsuit against the club alleging the business failed to have a license, was a place for prostitution, drug trafficking, sexual assault and sexual exploitation.
