El Paso County District Attorney Bill Hicks said he does not expect to see many cases related to SB4 Texas’ new immigration enforcement law. Hundreds of migrants who were trying to turn themselves into federal border agents to claim asylum rushed past barriers erected by Texas officials in El Paso Thursday. Saturday is the 14th anniversary of Obamacare. Plans to create addition and alterations to a historic Landmark building in Downtown were introduced to the city’s historic landmark commission this week.
