El Paso is home to a new federal landmark that honors the history of bracero workers. The site in Socorro was the primary hub for thousands of workers who arrived from Mexico to provide critical labor in the U.S. during World War two through 1964. A new study in Laredo shows that cities along the Rio Grande will need to make better use of the water supply as demand increases in the next few decades.
