The city of El Paso is projecting a revenue surplus of $2.2 million by the end of the 2024 fiscal year in June. For the first time Texas has basic rules for hunting and trapping of mountain lions. And, a coalition of government agencies and nonprofits are encouraging El Pasoans to stay safe this summer as hot and dry weather is expected these next several months. Friday is National Heat Awareness Day.
