Today is election day. And, there is still time to cast a ballot. The City of El Paso and Zoological society are now in a legal battle. El Paso had its first 100-degree day of heat today. It reached as high as 101 at 3 o’clock, according to the National Weather Service. Near Ruidoso, nearly 7,000 acres of land are caught in a wildfire, according to the New Mexico State Forestry Division.
