Texas Democrats arrived in El Paso this week for the party’s biennial convention. The convention runs through Saturday and issues like access to abortion and public-school funding will likely play a large role when the party adopts its two-year platform. June 6th marks 80 years since Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy in 1944. After a year-long hiatus, the Multipurpose Recreation Center on Viscount Boulevard is opening its doors once again.
