The Socorro Independent School District board of trustees approved a new incentive program called All In, aimed at improving attendance at its schools this year. Vice President Kamala Harris spoke today in Houston before the American Federation of Teachers’ annual convention. Doña Ana County has narrowed down its search for a new county manager to four finalists. Those candidates will have interviews and community visits in August.
