Alleged drug cartel leader Ismael Zambada known as El Mayo will be staying in Texas. At least for now. A federal judge has denied a request to move Zambada’s court proceedings to New York where he also faces charges. Texas Democrats are calling on the Department of Justice to investigate Attorney General Ken Paxton for possible civil rights violations that may have occurred during his investigations of alleged voter fraud. Former Texas Governor Rick Perry has taken a job as a senior advisor for Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan. The announcement was made today/Thursday. A Texas teachers union unveiled what it's calling an Educator's Bill of Rights this week.
