City officials say they’ll enforce an existing ordinance preventing El Pasoans from operating their homes like entertainment venues. University of Texas at El Paso is offering guidance to staff and faculty about what to do if ICE agents show up on campus. Any increases on El Paso Electric bills will have to wait at least three months. An El Paso lawmaker is once again pushing a bill that he says would help increase access to healthcare in Texas. Legislation that would create a voucher-like plan for Texas schools is up for discussion among state senators.
