Thousands of Juarenses held signs, flags and wore purple to a march in Downtown Juarez in observance of International Women’s Day. The marchers demanded justice for the tens of thousands of women murdered in Juárez and throughout Mexico over the last two decades. Expect strong winds again this week. El Paso author Richard Parker has died. Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar has decided to leave his job after more than a decade in the role.
