Ten international students at the University of Texas at El Paso have had their visas revoked by the federal government, according to school officials. The measles outbreak in West Texas has spread to El Paso. There are two confirmed cases. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has announced he will challenge Senator John Cornyn in the 2026 Republican primary. Shelby Park in the Texas border city of Eagle Pass has reopened to the public. Advocates for rail projects in Texas are staying optimistic about legislation that could bring more trains to the state.
