A proposal to require digital coupons at grocery stores be physically available or through assistance failed to pass after a vote from the El Paso City Council. Legislators in the Texas House approved a bill worth $337 billion dollars to fund the state’s operations between 2026 and 2027, including a supplemental appropriations bill to finish this year’s cycle. The controversial bill that would establish a school voucher program in Texas received final approval from the Texas House early this morning.
