The El Paso Animal Services Department will spend a proposed $16.2 million dollars in the 2026 fiscal year budget. That is a $2.4 million dollar increase compared to this year’s budget. The El Paso Animal Services Department has two full-time veterinarians and two partner vets overseeing growing numbers of surgeries, according to department director Terry Kebschull. The public will be able to hear about the city’s budget at your nearby recreation, library, command or senior center.
