Nearly three years after the warden of a West Texas Detention facility shot and killed a migrant man, and injured a woman – his former employer is being sued. A jury is set to hear arguments next week. An investigation is underway over a death of a man at the downtown jail, according to a filing from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office. The El Paso County Commissioners Court will vote to set a tax rate on Monday.
