A man in his 80s is hospitalized with a severe form of Neuroinvasive West Nile Virus, according to the city of El Paso’s Department of Public Health. About 3,000 soldiers from Fort Bliss are back from a nine-month deployment to Europe. This weekend, the League of Women Voters in Southern New Mexico will hold a panel over the impacts a shortage of doctors has on communities.
