The El Paso County medical examiner has ruled the cause of death of a Cuban man at the immigration detention camp a homicide. A federal judge has ordered a second bond hearing for an immigrant detained at the large camp in East El Paso. Meteorologists with the National Weather Service say a winter storm will bring light rain and chances for some snow or sleet this weekend. Governor Greg Abbott has declared a state of disaster across more than 130 counties across Texas in advance of this weekend’s winter storm. Thousands of El Pasoans and other concertgoers bought pre-sale tickets for the highly anticipated BTS tour at the Sun Bowl in May.
