The federal government has agreed to hold off on deporting two men who say they witnessed a death at the detention camp in El Paso. The Texas Rangers are investigating the death of a federal inmate who was held at the downtown jail. Texas is set to carry out its first execution of the year tomorrow. El Paso County officials criticized a preliminary evaluation of an Emergency Services District serving Far East El Paso County. More than half of Texas adults have experienced physical violence in their lifetime.
