The El Paso City Council voted to have the attorney’s office call for a rehearing over a proposed rate increase from the Texas Gas Service. Also, the Public Utility Commission of Texas sided favorably with the city over a proposed additional charge to El Paso Electric Customers. Early voting for Texas’ party primaries begins on Tuesday. The City Council will vote on a proposal worth just over $584,000 dollars toward the design of a Downtown Deck Plaza over Interstate 10.
