The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for West Texas including El Paso and Southern New Mexico. In anticipation of the weather, the city’s environmental services department has suspended curbside collections of blue recycling bins tomorrow. The board in charge of governing the Emergency Services District #2 in Far East El Paso county took a position to oppose a new massive detention center in Socorro. Congressman Henry Cuellar opposes the creation of a federal immigration center on San Antonio’s East side.
