There’s a last-minute flurry of candidates visiting El Paso as early voting wraps up for the March 3rd primary election. The Democratic frontrunner in the governor’s race Gina Hinojosa visited El Paso a few weeks ago. Nine people on trial for a shooting outside an ICE detention center are trying to prove they acted within their rights as protesters. In other news El Paso Congresswoman Veronica Escobar and 23 other members of Congress are calling on the Trump administration to immediately close the ICE detention camp at Fort Bliss.
