Not Part Of Talks, Israel Still Tries To Sway Iran Nuclear Talks
Israel is keeping a close eye on the Geneva talks on Iran's nuclear program. Israel is not party to the negotiations but its leaders say they have a big stake in the outcome. A cabinet statement Tuesday warned of "cosmetic [Iranian] concessions that could be reversed in weeks. In exchange, Iran demands an easing of the sanctions, which have taken years to put in place."

Cease-Fire Between Israel, Hamas May Be Close
With the conflict in Gaza on its seventh day on Tuesday, Egypt dispatched its foreign minister to Gaza City at the head of an Arab delegation. Few Signs Of Break In Mideast Flare-Up
At least 10 people were killed Sunday in an Israeli airstrike. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is now warning of a possible "significant" expansion of the operation targeting Palestinian militants in Gaza. Israel says it's responding to a barrage of rocket fire from the Gaza Strip targeting Israeli cities.

Iran Nuclear Talks Bring Top Diplomats, But Still No Deal
After a flurry of high-level diplomatic activity in Geneva Friday, Iran and six world powers continued to work on an agreement to curb Iran's nuclear program in exchange for easing of some economic sanctions. The arrival of Secretary of State John Kerry and three EU foreign ministers added diplomatic heft — but not speed — to the proceedings.

Israeli police used spyware to hack its own citizens, an Israeli newspaper reports
According to a report in Israeli media, Israel has hacked activists, mayors and other Israeli citizens without judicial oversight using spyware from the controversial NSO Group.
