Kevin Kniestedt became the host of Morning Edition on WFAE in September of 2013. He covered Hurricane Iwa (1982) as a TV reporter; was the State Department of Defense/Civil Defense spokesperson for Hurricane Iniki (1992); and, commanded a public affairs detachment in Afghanistan (2006). He has a master's degree in Communication from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and is a decorated combat veteran (Legion of Merit, Bronze Star and 22 other commendation/service medals). He resides in Honolulu.

The main thing you should know about Giles Snyder is that he is an extreme commuter. He drives 90 miles from his home to the NPR newsroom, usually in the middle of the night.

Arnie Seipel is the Deputy Washington Editor for NPR. He oversees daily news coverage of politics and the inner workings of the federal government. Prior to this role, he edited politics coverage for seven years, leading NPR's reporting on the 2016, 2018 and 2020 elections. In between campaigns, Seipel edited coverage of Congress and the White House, and he coordinated coverage of major events including State of the Union addresses, Supreme Court confirmations and congressional hearings.

Lindsey Moon joined Wisconsin Public Radio in Madison as the Lee Ester News Fellow in August 2012. She comes to WPR from Iowa Public Radio where she was a reporter/producer working on both investigative reporting projects and the network's two locally produced daily talk programs. She is a contributor to the Iowa Center for Public Affairs Journalism and is interested in health issues, sustainability, as well as arts and culture.
