Gotbaum has filed stories for NPR, The New York Times, Marketplace, and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. She is an adjunct professor at Emerson College in Boston. She is also a fluent Spanish speaker, a certified yoga teacher, and an avid rock-climber.
