Feds Consider How Colo. Pot Shops Can Get Bank Accounts
Now that legal marijuana is on sale in Colorado, most banks are shying away from giving pot shops checking accounts. The drug is still against federal law. The Justice and Treasury Departments have issued guidance in hopes banks will resume business with marijuana sellers.
