Mississippi D.A. Weighs Prosecution in Till Murder
District Attorney Joyce Chiles in Mississippi is considering whether enough evidence exists to prosecute the 1955 murder of Emmett Till. FBI investigators reopened the Till case in 2004. Federal civil rights prosecutors are hamstrung by a statute of limitations, but there is no such obstacle in Mississippi.

Lebanon Cancels Rice Meeting; Demands Cease-Fire
The Israeli airstrike in Qana, Lebanon, this morning has instant political repercussions in Lebanon. Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora cancelled today's scheduled meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and has said there will be no talks until a cease-fire is in place.
